Decided to test the knee.  Considered turning around after 1/4 mile but the discomfort wasn't increasing so I kept going.  It still hurts but I can manage the discomfort.  The true test is the rest of today and tomorrow morning.  If the pain does not increase then I will start running again and deal with the pain.

Looks like you've been doing the smart thing and giving that knee a rest. I hope it doesn't feel any worse tomorrow.

If you want to brainstorm this through we could give it a go. :)

How are you feeling this afternoon?

Just wondering, have you been doing any ice or any other interventions in addition to rest?

I am crossing my fingers that you are feeling awesome right now and have this well under control!! :)

The knee actually hurts less today after the run than it did the previous days while not running. No icing or anything else except cutting back on the miles. It should be good to go now.
