Happy birthday to me.  I couldn't decide what kind of run I should do to celebrate.  Running 37 miles would be too much (especially 2 days after a marathon) and 37 minutes wasn't enough.  I considered running in my birthday suit but it was too cold.  Ended up running 7.3 miles which at least has the right digits in it.  I'm pretty sore and my pace was very slow.  All part of the recovery process, I guess.

Yeah! Happy Birthday Andy! I think out of all the different running choices for your birthday, you picked the best one! (We wouldn't want to be seeing you in the news!...."Birthday boy celebrates birthday with nice, cool birthday suit run!"

I hope you have a great day with a few fun surprises!

Happy Birthday!

Well done on Saturday. It was kind of fun to run the last 10 of a marathon with someone. It is just cruel to be that fresh when they are that tired.

Happy belated Birthday Andy! Oh, and thanks for not traumatizing your neighbors with your birthday suit you old guy:) The memories of the van ride to Logan. Didn't I make a great first impression on you.

From Andy on Tue, Sep 23, 2008 at 11:13:18

Michelle - I'm not sure what is worse, being called old or thinking that people would be traumatized if they saw me in my birthday suit.

Oh Andy, Andy, Andy! I have a funny story for you about birthday suits. A lady that I run with was running early one morning about 5 years ago and all of a sudden this guy starts running next to her and she looks over and he is naked. Needless to say she was a little traumatized. Luckily some nice man pulled over and gave her a ride home when he saw the situation. Very funny but a little scary. You aren't old, I just love to give you crap after the comment I made before.

Happy Birthday!!

Your 37 ... you need to do something crazy ... throw caution to the wind!! Seriously, atleast 37 seconds of something that will help you remember this birthday forever. Did you ever see or hear about that guy that would go around giving people hugs (I think he had a sign or something that read "Free Hugs.") Hey ... here's an awesome idea ... I'm a stinkin' genius ... (and I am now definitely going to do it on my birthday) how about you go by 37 lollipops, sodas, candybars, whatever ... and give them to 37 people (some of which should be strangers)!! That'd be sweet!! C'mon Andy ... DO IT!!!

From Teena on Tue, Sep 23, 2008 at 11:34:37

Just saw my typo ... of course, I meant "buy" 37 lollipops ...

Oh stink!! Your birthday was yesterday!!! Do it anyway!! :)
