Are you sure about the swimming thing? Even if you never "get it" it is really good cross training. I vote you give it another month or two before you throw in the towel completely.

Your usual 7 nicely done! Have no advise for the swimming thing. I think most runners shy away from swimming. Kudos to you for making the effort. Seriously, Kathie has a good point.
