As bad as this weather is for other things, it has been great for running.  It was cool and overcast this morning.  Yesterday I took my niece and her friends to the lake for her graduation present.  Other than being stranded in the middle of the lake because of a dead battery at the end of the day, it was a perfect day.  My body definitely appreciated the rest I gave it yesterday.  I was really feeling beat up from Monday and Tuesday and felt much better today.  Kept the pace pretty steady throughout the run and did start to wear down a little towards the end but felt good for the most part.  I did take a 10 minute break in the middle because I had to stop at the store to get something for one of my daughter's school activity today.

So how did you get rescued from the middle of the lake? I have 2 batteries on my boat, cause I am afraid of getting stranded. How was the water? I bet it is a bit frigid up there still.

We were able to wave down another boat who helped us. Having a boat full of 18 year old girls made it easy to get their attention. It actually ended up being my neighbors dad which was a funny coincidence. I have a jumper box on my boat but that died too. The water was amazing. I was surprised it wasn't colder than it was.

Your daughter is still in school? Are they in year round school?

They are in year round and have 1 more week to go. They are switching to traditional next year because of the new elementary in Foxboro.

What a nice uncle. And nice running.
