I let out an audible yelp as I took my first few steps.  As I got going, though, everything felt good.  Typical soreness in my quads and hamstrings but everything else felt good.  Was actually able to run in shorts and a t-shirt.  I think the really nasty stuff is finally behind us.

Andy, I'm always impressed with how well and quickly you recover from intense runs and races.

I am not going to run for a week, I can't believe you ran today! When is your next race?

I need to figure out my racing schedule for the rest of the year. My next key race will probably be the 1/2 at the rec center on July 24. I started looking at my SGM schedule and realized that an 18 week training schedule would start in 2 weeks. I might only do the 12 week schedule and just run and race a lot for the next 2 months.
