Today's edition of tempo Tuesday was a good, hard run.  Tara wanted to some faster stuff and my goal was to attempt to keep up as long as I could.  Wamred up with 4 easy miles then ran 6X800 at 6:00/mile with a 2 minute active recovery.  Splits were: 3:00, 2:55, 2:57, 2:57, 2:57, 3:00.  Tara finished a few seconds ahed of me on the last one.  The 5th and 6th were tough.  I gave up on the last one and just wanted to keep it at 6:00/mile.  Even though I lagged behind on the last one, it felt good to get in a hard, fast run.

There has definitely been improvemnt since last month. I would say it was a slightly tougher workout than last time because of the shorter recovery time. I think cutting back to a 2 minute reoovery was a good decision.
