Just a nice slow, snowy run.  My feet were especially slappy today for some reason.

Slappy huh? I haven't heard that one. I think mine are slappy every day! Great work.

From Kathie on Tue, Feb 10, 2009 at 12:22:06

Were they really more slappy or could you just hear it more because the roads were wet?

From Andy on Tue, Feb 10, 2009 at 12:23:02

They didn't feel very smooth when they were hitting the road. I think that it was because I was being a little more cautious as I was running because it was slippery.

You may have already posted this and I missed it, but how is you shoulder doing after the spill the other day? You guys are having one nasty winter up there this year.

From Andy on Tue, Feb 10, 2009 at 14:59:25

The shoulder is fine. It seems like the temperatures haven't been that bad this year but we have had more storms.

I try to imagine myself running on thin ice when the feet get slappy. It helps me to have a quicker leg turnovers and lighter footfall. I am tired of wet/slushy/icy roads.
