It was rainy but the temperature felt good.  First couple of miles were a bit of a drag but I started to feel better once I warmed up.

Have you recovered from your spill on Saturday? If you have I think it would have been funny to have been there and seen that. If you have not healed disregard the last sentence and replace it with I am so sorry you fell. :)

Of course the first thing that I thought was "I hope nobody saw that". I'm totally fine so you don't have to feel bad for making fun of me.

From Smooth on Mon, Feb 09, 2009 at 15:20:26

Glad no damage was done from the spill. Slippery ice scares me. Do you do speed work when it's rainy or snowy? Just wonder because you don't seem to run on the treadmill much.

From Andy on Mon, Feb 09, 2009 at 15:29:49

I don't run on the treadmill at all. When I used to do speed work (when I was in shape) I would do it on the roads. If there was too much snow pack on the road then I would postpone it until the roads were clear.

From Smooth on Mon, Feb 09, 2009 at 15:42:11

That's what I thought. Part of the benefit of speed work is to learn efficient running form. Treadmill effects running form differently. I am debating where to run my speed work tomorrow. Your experience gives me something to think about. Thanks Andy!

I take it your shoulder must be feeling better. Glad to hear it!!

Hope you are feeling better and don't have Salmonella illness.

From RivertonPaul on Mon, Feb 09, 2009 at 18:00:10

Andy, that probably came across wrong. I didn't mean to make light of Salmonella poisoning, I was just thinking its one more thing to consider if you google the symptoms and they match.

From Andy on Mon, Feb 09, 2009 at 18:49:00

Paul - I do eat a lot of peanut butter so that was a good thought. I'm really not exhibiting any of the major symptoms of salmonella poisoning.
