Just keeping the legs moving.  Up 1 more pound today.  I have never had this issue with weight before.  I'm looking at this as rationally and logically as possible.  The weight should only affect my speed and based on recent workouts, my speed is fine.

Walking around today, I have noticed that my legs are very sore.  Does anybody else get sore when their mileage is reduced?  Hopefully they are sore from packing in all that extra glycogen.

Weight could just be due to the reduced volume of the taper, I am up a pound or two myself.

Good luck in St. George, I hope to see you down there!

Your weight is fine...my leg hurt really bad last night but we are not even close to being in the same league so it may not mean anything.

Hey! I am 2 lbs over! And yes my legs are very sore and tired especially later in the day. By bed time it felt like they are on fire. Had the same feeling the week of Spanish Fork and could hardly walk on Thu., but then I was good to go Sat morning. This is what worked for me. I had Teena worked the knots off, then did an Epsom salt soak and yoga and complete rest for a day.

I plan on running a little tomorrow, then foam roll, then soak then yoga and get extra sleep. Oh I also start drinking joint juice..it has some antioxidant along with the chrondo...whatever thing that supposed to help with joints. Just my 2 bits

Good luck this weekend. You've really had some amazing training runs these last few months.
