A little chilly to start but temps felt alight as the run progressed.  I felt very good from start to finish.  Legs never felt tired and breathing was never an issue.  Averaged 7:45 for the run.  It is interesting to me that I am running well on the long runs but am really struggling with the faster paced runs.  Maybe that is an indication that I am getting to a point in life where I should transition to ultra marathons.  Probably too much of a time commitment.

AWESOME!!!! Call me crazy, but I still think 26.2 is a long way to run!!! :) :) :)

I agree. I don't think I could fully commit to an ultra marathon. I just think that I have lost what little speed I had.

That is an awesome pace for a LR Andy and a great indication that you felt well the entire time.

I am with Teena. Marathons are still long to me. :)

Just keep running. Just keep running.

Running so well on long runs means you have built a strong solid aerobic foundation. Seriously an average 7:45 for 18 miles with such ease is FANTASTIC. It means you RULE the marathon distance! :)
