Met Tara at the LPT.  We ran in between major rain storms.  It started coming down a little on our way back but nothing too severe.  I had no pep in my legs at all.  Started out slow and it felt like it was too much work.  splits going out were: 8:20, 7:52, 7:49 and 7:33 (according to my watch which is usually more generous than Tara's).  Our plan was to run low 7's on the way back but I knew there was no way I was up to the challenge.  Splits on the way back were 7:08, 7:16, 7:26 and 7:02.  Looking at the data after the run I thought my heart rate would be out of control but it was close to what it always is.  I think I was just being a baby today.

I think it was your legs from your half. I'm not sure your leg soreness would necessarily manifest itself through your heart rate. Who knows. Also, clearly I didn't realize the race was this weekend. I change my mind, you do not have time for a long run or two!:) I talk too much.
