It took a little extra work to get myself out the door this morning.  Very cold so it took awhile to warm up.  Half way through the run I realized that I really don't push myself hard enough.  I get into a comfort zone and don't push the pace as much as I should.  I don't want to run so hard that it hurts but I should be going a little faster than I am.

LOL that is interesting that you would say that. I have been feeling the same thing. I still haven't puked on any of my races or runs yet. And that burning in your legs I hear about. I still feel something just no burning. So I am sure there is still another level or 2 out there for us to push too.

Great job braving that wind today. It was a bit chilly but that wind look horribly cold.

Also Andy I think Fly and I are wanting to get together for another run. Are you up for another run like last time?

Another run with you and Fly sounds great. Let me know what you come up with.

Will do man. And I am not up for one of those long 18 miles or whatever it turned out to be. Only 10-13 for me:) I will send you a Email with my cell.

My personal solution to that problem is convincing myself, in spite of the reality, that I'm pushing too hard and that I need to slow down. Pretty soon my mind stops recognizing effort and just figures if I'm running I must be good.

Maynard - That is the philosophy that I have been following and think maybe it is time to mix it up. Good to see you on the blog.
