I noticed that they had mile markers set up on the LPT so I wanted to go check out how accurate they are (based on my Garmin).  I was surprised to see a marker every 1/2 mile and they were spot on.  The only time that I was 0.01 off was after I went through the under pass and lost my signal.  I was starting to get a feel for the distance on the trail but this will be nice to have actual measurements.  The run itself was less than stellar.  I felt pretty blah the entire time.  Is it diet related, something physical or something mental?  I'm not feeling particularly motivated to correct it so it must be mental.

You have got to be a machine. Great job with staying so consitant even when it doesnt feel so great. You are still getting in the good miles. I am glad to hear you are going to be joining us also on Sat right on.

Andy...I'm going to have to get down there and run the LPT soon, before it snows. Did they just barely put up those mile markers?

They put the mile markers up sometime last week. It is a pretty good trail to run but I can only do it a couple of times a week because my ADD kicks in and I get bored with the same scenery.

I know what you mean about the scenery. I've been running on LPT almost daily. To ease the boredom I run from my house and try to get in two or three miles before I get to LPT, which means less time on the trail. I don't like that tunnel (overpass) either, it always knocks ut my GPS.

I agree with Mark ... you're pretty much a machine. How you crank out those miles when you're not feeling it is amazing!!

I am so jealous that you are all running together Saturday. Where are your running? Who's all going? I'm so so jealous. I agree, a change of scenery is so welcome ... I also think it's nice to run the long runs with a group. Makes the miles fly by.
